Nuline Medical is one of Scotland's leading single-use medical suppliers, operating from their Ayrshire base since 2017. Founded by Colin Moore and John McKerchar, who between them bring over 65 years of experience in the medical industry, the business has grown significantly since its inception and today employs a team of 28 staff across manufacturing, warehouse and cleanroom facilities all on-site.
As an ISO-certified business, Nuline has always recognised the importance of data security. For a long time, the company manages all IT internally, but as the business grows, this becomes increasingly challenging. Data backup starts as a weekly task but quickly becomes a daily requirement, and with that comes a much more manual process. Valuable time is being pulled away from higher-priority responsibilities across the team, and it is clear that a better solution is needed.
The turning point comes when Office Manager Danikka Drain comes across an Innovec flyer and is impressed by the local IT company's direct, straightforward approach. She reaches out to Managing Director Iain Wham, and the Innovec team visit Nuline the following week to assess their specific needs. Within days, Nuline becomes an Innovec customer.
